OP-18 "The Dominance of God" gets its second trailer

Bandai Card Games published a second trailer for the next One Piece Card Game booster, OP-18, on September 24. No pull rates, no street date changes, just more card reveals. The interesting part is that the market has already priced the set without seeing most of it: presale boxes are quoted at $393.23 against a $119.76 MSRP, a multiple of 3.3.

> $393.23 · presale box market for OP18 ahead of release

Our set page reads months since release at -2, meaning product is still roughly two months out. The estimated box EV sits at $260, giving an EV ratio of 0.66. That is not a red flag on its own: every sealed box is negative EV by construction, and a ratio under 1 is the normal state of the world. The number that should make you blink is the cost per pack, $16.38, on a product nobody has opened yet.

What the last ones did

OP18 carries a Long-Term Score of 0 out of 10 with the label Unproven, which is exactly what a set with a PSA population total of 0 deserves. There is no gem rate, no graded premium, no CAGR. The chart above is a presale stub, not a price history.

For context on where sealed settles once the hype clears, here is the current EV leaderboard among sets that actually have a tape:

Set Box market Box EV EV ratio
OP15 $258.14 $192 0.74
OP11 $598.59 $432 0.72
OP14 $262.33 $184 0.70
PRB02 $378.50 $245 0.65
OP13 $450.00 $271 0.60

OP18 at 0.66 slots between PRB02 and OP14 today, which is a respectable spot for a set whose chase slots are mostly still unrevealed. Those ratios move fast once real boxes hit the floor and singles find a clearing price.

On the singles side, only two OP18 cards carry quotes so far. Nico Robin, the SR shown above, is at $29.99, which is also its all-time high because it has no history to speak of. The leader Monkey.D.Luffy sits at $9.99. Both are presale marks with no 7-day or 30-day change attached.

What to watch when it lands

Three things worth checking on our pages in the first month of OP18's life.

First, which slot carries the set. Right now the entire quoted value of OP18 is one SR at $29.99 and a leader at a tenth of the box price. Once alternate arts and manga-style parallels print, the concentration shifts, and the screener shows where it lands.

Second, the EV ratio drift. Compare the $260 EV figure week over week on the EV page as singles reprice. Sets that hold above 0.70 tend to have deep secondary value rather than one lottery card.

Third, supply. The destruction tracker estimates boxes opened, and OP18's PSA population starts at literally zero. The rate at which that number climbs is the cleanest read on whether the 3.3x MSRP multiple survives contact with distribution.

The read

A trailer is not a price signal. It is a supply signal, and the supply here is still two months away while presale already asks more than three times sticker.

The honest position on OP18 is the one our own score gives it: Unproven, 0 out of 10, no graded pop, no CAGR, two quoted singles. Everything interesting about this set is still unpriced, and the tape will start on release day, not today.
