A sealed PRB02 box trades around $386 against a $110 MSRP, so the market is asking 251% more than Bandai did. That premium is the set being out of print rather than anything about the cards inside it.

Opening one returns $255 on average against $386 to buy it, a shortfall of $131 per box. The gap is real but not extreme, and a single box swings far wider than the average suggests in both directions.

Sanji (Manga) (OP06-119) is the most valuable card in PRB02 at $2,221, on its own 24% of the set's entire card value. The top fifteen cards carry 67% of the set's total value: a handful of chases, and a long tail that funds very little.

Broken down by what you actually pull, alternate-art parallels account for 50% of a box's expected return, at about 2 per box. That is the line the set's economics rest on, and it is why box results feel streaky: miss it and the rest of the box does not come close to covering the cost.
