What surfaced
A card listing for Crone Oli, slotted into OP17 with an unconfirmed collector number, made the rounds on r/ONEPIECETCG on August 3. The reported profile: Green Character, 1 cost, 0 power, Slash attribute, with the Red-Haired Pirates and Allies types, and Counter +2000 printed on the card. The reported effect keys off a Character with a type including "Red-Haired Pirates" being removed from the field.
Treat the specifics as community-sourced until Bandai confirms them. The number is still a placeholder, and rarity, which is what actually drives secondary pricing, has not been established. There is no tradeable print in our database, so there is no price history, no seven-day move, and nothing to model directly.
The tradeable question is OP17 sealed
What we can price is the set the card is going into. OP17 currently sits at a box market of $432.26 against a modelled expected value of $260, an EV ratio of 0.60. That is the widest gap among the sets we track closely.
| Set | Box market | EV | EV ratio |
|---|---|---|---|
| OP15 | $250.26 | $234 | 0.94 |
| OP14 | $270.59 | $198 | 0.73 |
| PRB02 | $394.32 | $287 | 0.73 |
| OP16 | $204.62 | $137 | 0.67 |
| EB03 | $325.19 | $208 | 0.64 |
| OP17 | $432.26 | $260 | 0.60 |
OP17 is the most expensive box on that list and the least efficient by EV ratio. That is normal behaviour for a set in the pre-release and early-hype window: sealed carries a scarcity and speculation premium that the singles market has not yet had time to validate. Full ratios are on the EV page.
A 1-cost, 0-power Counter +2000 body with a conditional trigger is, historically, the kind of card that lands as a low-rarity common or uncommon. Those do not move box EV. If Crone Oli matters financially, it will be because it makes a Red-Haired Pirates shell competitive enough to pull the archetype's leaders and alternate arts along with it. That is a second-order effect, and it takes weeks of results to show up in our price series.
Where the money actually moved this week
While OP17 previews trickle out, the seven-day tape has been about promos. Monkey.D.Luffy (033) leads gainers at $69.38, up 116%, with Charlotte Pudding - PRB02-010 at $29.11, up 104.6%, and Nami (033) at $50.17, up 54.8%.
The other side is heavier. Nami (Round 1 Promo) is down 40.6% to $143.08 and Nico Robin (Round 1 Promo) is down 39.5% to $115.04. At the top of the market, Tony Tony.Chopper (SP) printed $3,165.98 on a 10.9% move and Marshall.D.Teach (Manga) sits at $1,999.99, up 14.3%.
The Terminal take
A reveal with no confirmed number and no confirmed rarity is not a price event, it is a scheduling event. The one number that matters right now is OP17's 0.60 EV ratio at a $432.26 box, the lowest efficiency and highest sticker price in our set table. Previews tend to sustain that premium; singles supply tends to erode it.
