A testing thread flagging Miss Sunday as oppressive arrives while OP18 sealed trades at $362.76 against a $119.76 MSRP, with zero graded population and no track record.
OP18: a $362.76 box for a set nobody can buy singles from yet
A player writing on r/ONEPIECETCG this week laid out a testing report on OP18, arguing that the Miss Sunday leader is poorly designed for the format: an aggressive deck that somehow keeps refilling its own card advantage while it attacks. The poster was careful to say the deck is not unbeatable. The market, meanwhile, has already priced OP18 sealed at $362.76 a box against a $119.76 MSRP, which is three times sticker before a single competitive result exists.
> $362.76 · OP18 box ask, three times the listed MSRP
There is no annualized return to quote here. Our clock reads one month to release, so the set has no 3-month or 1-year CAGR and no return-from-MSRP figure. Every number below is a presale number, which is to say a number built on expectation rather than on anything that has traded through a weekend of regionals.
Inside the box
Rip expected value on OP18 sits at $260 against that box ask, an EV ratio of 0.72. Every sealed box in this game is negative EV by design, so a ratio under 1 is the normal state of the world, not a warning light. What 0.72 tells you is how much of the box price the singles market currently supports, and at presale that support is thin because most of the set has not found a price yet.
Packs work out to $15.12 each at the current box ask. The board's top three OP18 cards:
The Robin SR is the only card in the set carrying a price with any air in it, and $29.99 is also its all-time high, which is trivially true for a card with a price history measured in days. The two leaders both sit at $9.99, the default landing spot for presale leaders before anyone knows which ones matter. Compare that against the mature sets on the EV board, where OP11 runs a 0.76 ratio on a $566.03 box and OP13 sits at 0.61.
The graded side
Total PSA population for OP18: zero. No gem rate, no graded premium multiple, no estimate of boxes opened, because no boxes have been opened. The destruction tracker has nothing to chew on until product is in hand and the first submissions clear.
That matters for how you read the chart above. The Robin line is a presale line. There is no graded floor under it, no population data to say whether the SR prints clean, and no supply estimate to anchor what the card does once cases hit.
Long-term read
OP18 scores 0 out of 10 on our Long-Term Score, labelled Unproven. That is not a judgement on the cards. It is arithmetic: the score leans on release age, graded population, gem rate and realised returns, and OP18 has none of the four. A set one month from release cannot score any other way.
What the Miss Sunday thread adds is a reminder that presale pricing is pure narrative. If the testing consensus holds and that leader is as oppressive in practice as the thread claims, demand concentrates on whatever cards the deck needs. If it does not, the $9.99 leaders stay $9.99. Track the set page and the screener once results start printing.
