OP18 opens its card list, and the sealed market is already ahead of it

A fresh batch of OP-18 cards made the rounds in the collector community this weekend, surfaced on r/OnePieceTCG and amplified by community channels: a new Luffy, plus Eyelashes, Kumadori and Mr.1. No official pricing exists for any of them. What does exist is a sealed market that has been quoting OP18 boxes at $355.33 against an MSRP of $119.76, a multiple of 3 before a single pack has been cracked.

> $355.33 · OP18 box market price with the set unreleased

That works out to $14.81 per pack at current preorder levels. For context on how early this is, our set page carries OP18 at months since release of -1 and a PSA population of 0. There is no gem rate, no boxes-opened estimate, no realized price history. The chart above on individual cards is preorder sentiment, not a secondary market.

What the numbers say right now

Our model puts OP18 expected value at $260 per box against that $355.33 market, an EV ratio of 0.73. Every box is negative EV by design, so a ratio under 1 is the normal state of the world, not a warning light. For comparison, OP11 sits at 0.76, OP14 at 0.73, OP15 at 0.72 and PRB02 at 0.66 on the EV page. OP18 is currently priced in line with the better-converting sets in the catalog, which is a strange place for an unreleased product to be.

The named cards from the reveal do not have quotes yet. The OP18 entries that do are thin and clustered:

Card Number Price
Nico Robin OP18-031 $29.99
Saint Gunko OP18-060 $9.99
Monkey.D.Luffy (022) OP18-022 $9.99
Monkey.D.Luffy (016) OP18-016 $4.99

Every one of those is flat at 0% over seven days and sitting at its all-time high, which is what happens when the all-time high is also the first and only price. The Long-Term Score for the set is 0 of 10 with the label Unproven, because the model has nothing to score.

What to watch when it lands

First, which slot carries the set. Right now Nico Robin at $29.99 is the only OP18 card above ten dollars, and preorder leaders are rarely the cards that hold through month one. Watch whether the revealed Luffy displaces her or whether the leader list reshuffles entirely.

Second, the print absorption. Our destruction page will start estimating boxes opened once submissions and sales flow in, and PSA population moves off zero. A set whose box sits at 3x MSRP tends to see heavy early opening, which is exactly what compresses singles.

Third, the EV gap. If $260 holds while the box drifts, the ratio improves toward the OP11 end of the range. If the box holds at $355.33 and the singles soften, it goes the other way. The screener is the fastest way to watch that happen card by card.

The read

A reveal moves attention, not prices, and OP18 has no price history to move. The only hard figure in the file is a sealed market trading at three times sticker with an EV ratio of 0.73 and a Long-Term Score of 0 of 10, which describes anticipation rather than performance. Everything interesting about this set starts the week packs open.
