Sealed OP18 sits at $324.03 against a $119.76 MSRP as a Reddit thread raises complaints about pack stock, box condition and duplicate hits.
OP18: the set trading at 2.7x before it officially lands
Sealed OP18 boxes are marked at $324.03 against a Bandai MSRP of $119.76. That is a multiple of 2.7, or $13.50 a pack against a $4.99 list price, for a product whose English release date is still ahead on the calendar at Nov 20, 2026. The three-month annualized read on the set sits at -75%, which is what early sealed price discovery looks like when imported supply starts arriving and the initial scarcity premium bleeds out.

The complaints themselves surfaced on r/ONEPIECETCG this week, where an opener argued that OP18 packs and cards feel thinner than prior sets, that boxes arrived in worse cosmetic shape, and that the hit structure delivered duplicates of the same card alongside its alternate art. None of that is a Bandai statement, and none of it is confirmed. It is collector reporting on early product, which is how most print-quality stories start.
Inside the box
Our rip EV on OP18 is $260 against that $324.03 box price, an EV ratio of 0.80. Every sealed box is negative EV by design, so a ratio under 1 is the normal state of the world, not a scandal. The relevant question is how far under: at 0.80, OP18 is roughly in line with OP17 at 0.89 and ahead of PRB02 at 0.70, while EB05 is the current outlier at 1.30.
That is a thin top end. The card above, Nico Robin at $29.99, is both the set's ceiling and its all-time high, and the drop to the second name is immediate. When the second and third most valuable cards in a set both print at $9.99, a box has to find several of them to approach a $260 EV, which is precisely the structural reason duplicate hits sting more here than in a set with a deeper chase tier.
The graded side
There is nothing to read yet. PSA population across OP18 stands at 0, gem rate is unreported, and there is no graded premium multiple to compute. Estimated boxes opened is also blank. The set is listed at -1 months since release, which is our way of saying the official English street date has not arrived.
That matters for the print-quality thread specifically. Claims about thinner stock or edge damage get resolved by grading data, not by anecdote, and the first meaningful signal will be the gem rate once a few hundred submissions clear. Until then the chart above is tracking sealed sentiment, not card condition.
Long-term read
OP18 carries a Long-Term Score of 0 out of 10, labelled Unproven. That is not a judgment on the cards. It is the arithmetic of a set with no price history, no graded population, no 1-year CAGR and a single three-month data point that currently reads -75%.
Every set starts here. What moves the score is time: realized gem rates, a stable secondary floor on the chase cards, and a sealed price that finds a level rather than a slope. Anyone tracking the gap between the $324.03 box and the $260 EV can watch it on the EV page, and release dates and live sealed pricing sit on our pre-orders page. If the quality complaints prove systematic, the place it will show up in our data is the gem rate, and that number does not exist yet.
