A graded-hits post on r/ONEPIECETCG puts OP17 back in view: $312.07 boxes, $157 of expected value inside, and a $6,100 Xebec at the top of the ladder.
A collector thread on r/ONEPIECETCG this week recapped a run of OP17 pulls returning from grading, the kind of post that reliably sends people back to the box price. That box price is $312.07 against an MSRP of $119.76, a 2.6x multiple on a set that is one month old. The three-month annualized trend is running at -17%.

OP17 and the 2.6x problem
One month post-release is the worst possible window for a verdict. Early sealed pricing is a function of allocation and hype, and the -17% three-month CAGR suggests the initial scarcity premium has already begun to bleed. At $13 per pack equivalent, OP17 is not cheap entertainment.
The singles side is where the set earns its reputation. Rocks.D.Xebec (118) (Super Alternate Art) sits at $6,100, which is also its all time high, flat on the week. That is the chase, and the chart above shows how little it has had to move to stay there.
Inside the box
Expected value on a rip is $157 against the $312.07 box, an EV ratio of 0.50. Every sealed product is negative EV by construction, so the relevant question is not whether the ratio is below 1 but how far below. OP17 at 0.50 is the weak end of the current board: OP11 runs 0.76, OP15 0.75, and the full ranking lives on the EV page.
The top five are tightly clustered below the Xebec, which is unusual and helpful: four cards between $1,081.63 and $1,736.68 means the EV is not entirely hostage to one card. The Luffy leader is down 11.7% over thirty days and 2.2% on the week, the first real softening in the upper tier. Shanks is flat on the week and up 1.2% over thirty days, sitting at its own all time high.
The graded side
PSA population on OP17 is still zero in our data, which is exactly what you expect from a set one month out of the gate. Submissions from launch-week rips are only now coming back, which is precisely what the Reddit thread was documenting.
The graded premium multiple across the set is 2.2x. Individually: Xebec in a PSA 10 marks at $13,100, a 2.1x on raw. The Luffy leader prints $3,450 graded against $1,736.68 raw, a 2.0x. Shanks carries the widest spread at 2.3x, $3,500 graded. With no population data yet, gem rate is unmeasurable, so those multiples are forward-looking rather than earned.
Long-term read
OP17 scores 2 out of 10 on our Long-Term Score, labelled Unproven. That is not a judgment on the cards, it is a statement about sample size: one month of history, no graded population, no one-year CAGR, and a sealed trend already negative at -17% annualized.
What would move the score is time and data: a PSA population that establishes gem rates, a sealed price that finds a floor above or below the 2.6x MSRP line, and secondary demand that holds the $1,000-plus tier through the next set release. Not one of those exists yet. Full card list at OP17, and the week's movers are on the screener.
