Weekly Tape: Trafalgar Law Doubles to $2,500 While SP Promos Bleed

Two four-figure promos nearly doubled in seven days, five cards tripped the whale radar, and EB05 is the only box whose modeled EV clears its price.

The week a $2,500 promo did the heavy lifting

Trafalgar Law - ST10-010 closed the week at $2,500 after a 99.7% seven-day move, the largest percentage gain anywhere on our board and, in dollar terms, the single biggest print of the week. The card above carries the thinnest kind of liquidity: a handful of listings, a wide spread, and a chart that moves in steps rather than slopes. When that profile doubles, it is worth asking how many sales built the number.

Gainers

The top of the board splits cleanly into two groups: four-figure promos with almost no float, and alternate arts in the $45 to $55 band that trade often enough to be believable.

Card Set Price 7d
Trafalgar Law - ST10-010 PROMO $2,500 +99.7%
Monkey.D.Luffy (Store Championship Trophy Card) PROMO $1,300 +83.6%
Kouzuki Hiyori (Alternate Art) EB01 $47.11 +64.4%
Monkey.D.Luffy (001) (Alternate Art) OP13 $53.44 +36.4%
Lucky.Roux (Alternate Art) PRB02 $45.63 +29.7%

The Hiyori move is the most interesting of the group. A 64.4% week on a card that still only costs $47.11 is the kind of repricing that happens when an older EB01 alt art gets rediscovered rather than cornered.

Losers

The SP tier took the week off. Rob Lucci (SP) fell 33.3% to $750 and Enel (SP) fell 26.1% to the same $750 handle, two cards landing on an identical number from different starting points. That symmetry usually means the market is marking a tier, not a card.

The other soft spot is the Regionals Finalist Card Set 26-27 Vol.2 run. Kouzuki Oden gave back 33.1% to $71.97 and Monkey.D.Dragon slid 24.4% to $138. Event-distribution product tends to peak on announcement and drift as copies actually arrive in hands, and this is what that drift looks like on a chart.

Steepest single drop was I Know You're Strong... So I'll Go All Out from the Very Start!!! at minus 39% to $21.45, a Winner Pack print doing what Winner Pack prints do once supply catches the hype.

Boxes

Our EV ratio is modeled singles value divided by the market price of a sealed box. EB05 leads at 1.24, with $333 of modeled EV against a $268.99 box. Treat that as a ceiling, not a payout: the figure assumes every hit sells at listed market, ignores fees, shipping, time, and the bulk you are left holding.

Everything else on the board sits below parity. OP17 runs 0.88 on a $301.42 box, OP11 0.77 despite the highest box price of the group at $541.19, OP14 0.76 at $257.47, and OP15 0.70 at $251.27. Full table lives on the EV page.

Whale watch

Five cards tripped the radar at seaking severity this week, our highest tier, and all five appear elsewhere in this report. Both four-figure promos flagged on the upside; Lucci, Enel, and Oden flagged on the way down.

The pattern is thin-float promos and SPs, not staples. Nothing in the OP13 or PRB02 alternate art complex set off an alert, which is the point: those moved on volume, the flagged names moved on a small number of transactions each.

The read

Two tapes ran in parallel. One is a low-liquidity promo tape where $1,300 and $2,500 prints swing 80% to 100% in a week because almost nothing trades. The other is a working market in $45 to $55 alternate arts, where the moves are smaller and the fills are real.

The SP bracket landing twice on $750 is the number worth tracking into next week. If that level holds on the chart, it reads as a floor; if it does not, the Regionals Finalist drift suggests where promo-adjacent product goes once the novelty expires.
