Nico Robin is the prize for China's 4th Anniversary Commemorative Tournament, arriving in a week when four of the five biggest losers are event-issued cards.
Community channels surfaced word this week that a Nico Robin card will serve as the prize for the Chinese 4th Anniversary Commemorative Tournament, an announcement passed around r/ONEPIECETCG on September 24. There is no listing, no print figure and no secondary data on it yet. What there is, and what matters to anyone holding a shelf of event cardboard, is a tournament-promo tape that spent the last seven days going the wrong way.

Prize cards are a market, and it is soft right now
Region-locked prize cards have been the most reliably scarce objects in this game, which is exactly why they trade like collectibles rather than playables. A Chinese anniversary prize adds another supply node to a category that already spans Japanese finalist packs, Store Treasure Cup runs and Championship participation promos.
The complication is timing. Four of the five sharpest seven-day declines on our board are promos, and the fifth is a starter deck leader. That is not the signature of a category attracting fresh money.
The cards it touches
Jewelry Bonney (Offline Regional Finalist Card Set 2025 Vol.2) is the reference point at the top end, up 45.2% on the week and flagged as a seaking-severity move. Finalist-tier scarcity still commands a premium; that much of the thesis holds.
Below it, the picture inverts. Monkey.D.Luffy (CS 2024 Participation) is down 25.9% to $84.05, the largest dollar give-back among the losers. Jozu (Regional Participation Pack 2026 Vol.2) dropped 23.8% to $33.19, and Tashigi (Store Treasure Cup 2025) leads all decliners at -35.1%, now $26.71.
The pattern is legible: participation-tier and store-level promos are bleeding, while the genuinely capped finalist tier is not. Whichever tier the Chinese Robin ends up occupying will decide almost everything about how it prices.
The tape this week
Money that left promos did not leave the market. It went into alternate arts, and violently.

Benn.Beckman (Alternate Art) and Rob Lucci (Alternate Art) both roughly tripled or better off a low base, the kind of print that usually means a thin float met a deck list. Trafalgar Law - OP14-001 (Alternate Art) at $41.32 is the most expensive card on the gainers side.
Sealed is the quiet counterweight. OP15 leads box expected value at a 0.74 ratio on a $258.14 box, with OP11 at 0.72 and OP14 at 0.70. Full table on the EV page.
The read
A prize card announced with no distribution details is a rumor with art attached. The chart above shows what actually cleared this week, and it says collectors are rotating out of event promos and into chase rares from recent sets.
That rotation could reverse the moment the Chinese Robin's print tier becomes public. Until then, the only honest statement is that the promo category is being repriced downward while the announcement sits in the queue.
