A new player asked r/ONEPIECETCG which starter decks to buy. Our data covers two of the six, and ST25 just printed an all-time high.
The most expensive card in a Starter Deck 25 list is Crocodile & Mihawk at $5.03, and it got there fast: up 226.6% over seven days and 319.2% across thirty. That is an all-time high on the chart above, set this week. The trigger for this piece was a newer player on r/ONEPIECETCG asking which of ST25, ST27, ST28, ST33, ST34 and ST36 to pick up as a first deck to play with friends and at locals. Our price data covers two of those six.

ST25: the deck where the singles moved first
Starter decks are normally the flattest part of the market. Fixed lists, no pull rates, no variance. ST25 is behaving differently right now, with three of its top five singles sitting at or near their all-time highs simultaneously. Alvida, a common, is up 110.3% in a week to $1.83.
We do not publish a sealed box price, MSRP multiple or annualized return for ST25 or ST27, so there is no sealed-versus-singles comparison to make here. The singles tape is the whole signal.
Inside the box
With no rip EV to quote, the honest version of the usual math is the list price stack. Here is where ST25's top five sit.

ST27 is the cheaper shelf by a distance. Its top card, Kuzan, runs $1.05, with the OP09-081 Marshall.D.Teach at $0.95 and the ST27-005 printing at $0.58. The tail falls to $0.13 for the Jesus Burgess and Laffitte reprints. For a new player comparing two decks on cost of entry, that is a sub-dollar ceiling against a five-dollar one.
ST28, ST33, ST34 and ST36 return no priced rows in our dataset as of this snapshot. We are not going to guess at them.
The graded side
Populations here are thin, as you would expect from a precon. Crocodile & Mihawk has 24 PSA submissions total with a 92% gem rate, which is a high pass rate on a very small sample. Alvida has three graded copies and a 33% gem rate, a number that means almost nothing at that count.
The interesting one is the reprint Buggy at OP09-042. Raw it is $2.26, up 25.6% on the week. In a PSA 10 holder it carries $45.83, a 20.3x multiple across 162 graded copies at an 87% gem rate. That is the widest raw-to-slab gap in the deck by some margin.
Worth noting the parallel treatment of the same card in OP09 is this week's fifth-largest gainer at $49.95, up 32.5%. Reprint demand and parallel demand are moving in the same direction, which is usually a constructed-play story rather than a collector one.
Long-term read
We do not publish a Long-Term Score for either ST25 or ST27, so there is no composite to lean on. What the chart does show is a starter deck whose staples have repriced sharply in a month while the equivalent ST27 cards have not moved into the same range.
For anyone tracking whether that holds, the EV page and the screener are the places to watch the sealed and singles sides respectively. Starter deck pricing tends to follow format relevance, and format relevance tends to change on a ban list schedule rather than a market one.
