OP18 and the 2.9x problem

A spoiler for OP18-027, a Zoro & Sniperking card with an opponent's-turn clause tied to a Monkey D. Luffy Leader and an On Play that sets Don!! cards back to active, surfaced in the collector community on r/ONEPIECETCG. The card itself has no market yet. What does have a market is the box it will live in: OP18 sealed is quoted at $349.97 against a $119.76 MSRP for 24 packs, a multiple of 2.9 before a single case has legally been cracked.

> $349.97 · current OP18 sealed box price, pre-release

There is no annualized return to publish here, and that is the honest answer rather than a gap. The set sits at minus one month since release, with English product dated Nov 20, 2026 per Bandai. Every CAGR field for OP18 is empty because the set has no price history to annualize. The chart above is a singles chart, not a set chart, and it is short.

Inside the box

Rip EV for OP18 currently models out to $260 against that $349.97 box, an EV ratio of 0.74. Every sealed box in the game is negative EV by design, so a ratio under 1 is the normal state of the world rather than a red flag. For context, the current EV board on our EV page has OP11 at 0.77 and OP15 at 0.70, which puts OP18 squarely in the usual band.

The singles side is thin and top-heavy, which is typical for a set that is still being spoiled card by card.

Card Number Price
Nico Robin OP18-031 $29.99
Saint Gunko OP18-060 $9.99
Monkey.D.Luffy (022) OP18-022 $9.99
Monkey.D.Luffy (016) OP18-016 $4.99
Shark Submerge 3 OP18-076 $3.99

The Robin above is the whole top end right now at $29.99, which is also its all time high because it has never traded anywhere else. Everything behind it is single digits. Note that the effective cost per pack at the current sealed quote is $14.58, versus the $4.99 a pack MSRP, which is where almost all of the 0.74 ratio comes from.

The graded side

There is nothing to read. PSA population across OP18 is 0, gem rate is unreported, there is no graded premium multiple and no estimate of boxes opened. That is expected for a set whose English release is still ahead of it. Graded data will not become useful until a meaningful number of boxes have been opened and submitted, and our destruction tracker will show that drawdown when it starts.

Long-term read

OP18 scores 0 out of 10 on the Long-Term Score with the label Unproven. That is not a verdict on the cards, it is a statement about missing inputs: no release history, no population, no gem rate, no annualized return from MSRP. A set cannot score on a rubric built out of time-series data when it has no time series.

So the Zoro & Sniperking spoiler matters for deckbuilders today and for the market later. Competitive relevance is the main lever that moves a chase rare like the Robin, and that lever is still being revealed one card at a time. Until then the only hard numbers are the sealed quote, the 0.74 EV ratio and a release date. Current sealed prices and that date sit on our pre-orders page, and the rest of the set board is on the screener.
