OP18: a $357.34 box for a set nobody has opened

Bandai has dated the 18th main booster, BOOSTER PACK -THE DOMINANCE OF GOD-, for November 20, 2026, with cards legal in sanctioned play a week after that. The set runs 127+1 types, leans on Water Seven and the Holy Knights of God, and gives Saint Gunko and Saint Shamrock their first printed cards. Packs carry a $4.99 MSRP. Presale sealed does not.

> $14.89 · presale cost per pack against a $4.99 MSRP

A sealed box of OP18 marks at the price in the heading above versus a sealed MSRP of $119.76, a 3x multiple on a product that has not shipped. There is no annualized return to quote: the set sits at negative one month since release, so every CAGR field on its page is empty. What you are looking at on the chart is anticipation, not performance.

Inside the box

Modeled rip value comes in at $260 against that $357.34 box price, an EV ratio of 0.73. Every box in this game is negative EV by construction, so a sub-1.0 ratio is the normal state of the world and not a red flag by itself. The useful comparison is relative: the current leaders on the EV board run from OP11 at 0.75 down to EB03 at 0.59, which puts an unreleased OP18 in the upper half of the field before a single singles market has cleared.

That ranking is fragile. Presale singles prices are thin quotes, and EV math built on them tends to compress once supply hits shelves.

Card Number Price
Nico Robin OP18-031 $29.99
Saint Gunko OP18-060 $9.99
Monkey.D.Luffy (022) OP18-022 $9.99
Monkey.D.Luffy (016) OP18-016 $4.99

The card above is the set's current top line at $29.99, an SR Nico Robin sitting exactly at its all-time high because it has never traded anywhere else. Flat seven day changes across all three tracked cards tell you the same thing: these are listing prices waiting for a market, not a market.

The graded side

PSA population for OP18 is zero. No gem rate, no graded premium multiple, no estimated boxes opened, because no boxes have been opened. The first meaningful grading data on this set will not exist until December at the earliest, and the destruction tracker will stay blank until print runs start getting cracked.

That is worth stating plainly because presale buyers often price in a graded premium that has not been measured. For OP18 the premium is currently a hypothesis.

Long-term read

OP18 scores 0 out of 10 on the Long-Term Score, labeled Unproven. That is not a verdict on the set's contents. The score is built from realized price history, grading population and supply behavior over time, and OP18 has none of the three. Any set this far ahead of release scores the same way.

What changes the number is time on the tape: a release-week box price, a few weeks of singles settling, and the first PSA submissions. Until then, the only hard facts are the $4.99 pack MSRP, the November 20 date, and a presale market pricing sealed at triple sealed MSRP. Readers tracking how that gap closes can watch it on the screener.
