Big Mom Pirates chatter around Charlotte Pudding has EB-05 in the community spotlight, but the set's tape is one month zero: 2.9x MSRP and no track record.
EB05 at 2.9x MSRP
The Extra Booster the community is currently arguing about trades at $352.47 a box against a $119.76 MSRP. That is a 2.9x multiple before a single competitive weekend has priced the contents. Annualized return is not a number we can give you, because EB05 is zero months past release and there is no history to annualize.
> $14.69 · the current cost of a single EB05 pack
The trigger here is community noise rather than a product announcement. A thread circulating on r/OnePieceTCG, amplified by the WOSSY PLAYS channel, makes the case that Charlotte Pudding out of EB-05 is a format-warping inclusion and that Big Mom Pirates is about to get considerably louder. Deck chatter of that kind tends to move singles before it moves sealed, and in this case the singles our tape covers are not the ones being discussed.
Inside the box
Rip EV sits at $321 against that $352 box, an ev_ratio of 0.91. Every sealed product on the market is negative EV by design, so a ratio under 1 is the baseline condition rather than a red flag. What 0.91 does say is that EB05 is currently one of the tighter spreads we track: for comparison, the sets on the EV board cluster lower, with OP11 at 0.76 and EB03 at 0.59.
The chase list is short and top-heavy.
Note the shape: the SR Nico Robin and Alvida carry most of the weight, and the drop to the $5.99 tier is steep. Each of those top prices is also the card's all-time high, which is what happens when a set has existed for days rather than quarters. The chart above has no shape yet for the same reason.
The graded side
PSA population on EB05 is 0. No gem rate, no graded premium multiple, no estimated boxes opened. Submissions take weeks to clear and the grading market has not had time to form an opinion on EB05 print quality, centering, or surface. Anyone pricing a hypothetical PSA 10 on this set today is pricing a guess.
That matters for the Pudding conversation specifically. Hype-driven singles demand is a play demand, and play demand does not generate graded supply. If Big Mom Pirates does take off, the first evidence shows up in single prices and box velocity, not in pop reports.
Long-term read
Our Long-Term Score for EB05 is 0 of 10, labeled Unproven. That is not a judgment on the cards. The score is driven by realized price history, graded data, and box behavior over time, and a set at month zero has none of the three. Extra Boosters historically run on reprint utility and a thin chase layer, which is exactly what the top-cards table shows.
The honest summary: the community has an opinion about Charlotte Pudding, the market has a box price and a 0.91 ratio, and nothing else. Watch the Robins and Alvida on the screener for the first real signal, and check the destruction tracker once opened-box estimates populate.
