A returning player's Rosinante question on Reddit points at two sets with opposite sealed profiles: EB05 at an EV ratio of 1.23, OP18 at 0.75.
EB05 and OP18: one box at 2.1x MSRP, the other at 2.9x
A thread on r/ONEPIECETCG from a returning player asked a simple thing: does a Rosinante build still function against the EB05 and OP18 field. We do not price decklists. We do price the two sets the question is aimed at, and on the sealed tape they look almost nothing alike.
> $248.15 · EB05 box market price, 2.1 times its MSRP
Both products carry the same $119.76 MSRP for a box of 24. EB05 trades at a 2.1 multiple of that, OP18 at 2.9, which works out to $10.34 and $14.41 per pack respectively at current market. Annualized return figures are not computable for either: EB05 is zero months from release and OP18 is still a month out, so there is no trailing window to measure.
Inside the box
EB05 is the odd one. Rip EV lands at $306 against a box market of $248.15, an EV ratio of 1.23. Every box is negative EV by design, and a ratio under 1 is the normal state of the world, so a reading above 1 says the singles side has repriced faster than sealed has. EB05 currently sits at the top of our EV board.
OP18 reads the other way: $260 of EV against $345.78 of box, a ratio of 0.75. That is the standard pre-release shape, where sealed carries a scarcity premium and the chase singles have not yet printed real sale data.
The gap in that table is the whole story. EB05's top five are anchored by the card above at $1,029.66, with an all time high of $1,500 on the chart. OP18's current top card is a $29.99 Nico Robin, with Saint Gunko and Monkey.D.Luffy (022) both at $9.99 behind it. Pre-release price discovery is thin by definition, and those numbers will move once packs open.
The graded side
There is nothing here yet. PSA population total reads 0 for both sets, which means no gem rate, no graded premium multiple and no estimated boxes opened to work from. For EB05 that is a function of age, not indifference: a set zero months old has not had time to cycle through grading. Our destruction tracker will have something to say in a few months.
Long-term read
EB05 carries a Long-Term Score of 1 out of 10, labelled Unproven. OP18 scores 0 out of 10, same label. Neither is a verdict on card quality. The score leans on realized price history, graded supply and time since release, and both sets are missing all three inputs. EB05's 1.23 EV ratio is the only hard signal in the pair, and it is a snapshot of a market that is days old.
OP-18 is dated November 20, 2026 in English per Bandai, at $4.99 a pack and $119.76 a box of 24; dates and live sealed prices sit on our pre-orders page. For anyone tracking how the singles settle after that, the screener is the faster read than a weekly box quote.
