European collectors are asking on Reddit whether EB03 is getting a late-October reprint wave alongside EB05. Here is what the sealed and singles data say.
A thread on r/ONEPIECETCG this week asked a simple question with expensive consequences: are European stores receiving an EB03 restock around the end of October or early November, possibly piggybacking on the EB05 release window? No distributor confirmation has surfaced, only shop-level chatter. The rumor matters because EB03 sealed is one of the more stretched boxes on the board.
> $310.97 · current EB03 box price, 2.6x its $119.76 MSRP
EB03 at 2.6x MSRP
EB03 is eight months past release and a sealed box still clears $310.97 against a $119.76 MSRP. That works out to $12.96 per pack and a 319% gain from MSRP. The annualized read is more modest than the headline multiple suggests: 8% on a three-month basis, 4% over one year. The product has gone sideways for a while, and a reprint wave would be the first real supply test since launch.
For contrast, EB05 opened at $348.26 a box, 2.9x the same $119.76 MSRP, with packs at $14.51. New-release pricing, zero track record.
Inside the box
EB03 rips at an expected $186 against that $310.97 box, an EV ratio of 0.60. Every sealed product is negative EV by design, so a sub-1.00 ratio is normal, but 0.60 puts EB03 last among the current box EV leaders. You are paying a wide premium over the average contents for a shot at the top end.
That top end is where the money sits.
The card above is the set's price leader and, as the chart shows, it has been quiet: down 0.9% on the week and 2.2% over thirty days, sitting under its $1,522.09 all-time high. Hancock is flat on both the seven and thirty day windows, well off its $1,709.62 peak. Nami is flat on the week and 0.4% lower on the month, with a $1,802.54 high that now looks distant. None of these are pricing in a supply shock yet.
The graded side
EB03 has 20,734 cards in the PSA population with an 88% gem rate, and graded copies carry a 1.3x premium over raw across the set. Estimated boxes opened: 135,216. That is a lot of product already through the shredder for a set this young.
At the card level the multiples are thin. Nico Robin's PSA 10 is $1,862.63, a 1.3x on raw, across 1,126 graded copies at a 79% gem rate. Hancock grades best of the three at 1.4x with a $2,000 PSA 10 and an 86% gem rate on 1,322 copies. Nami's PSA 10 at $1,454 is just 1.1x raw, which is close to grading-fee territory.
Long-term read
EB03 scores 3 out of 10 on the Long-Term Score, labelled Unproven. Eight months of history, a 4% one-year rate, a 0.60 EV ratio and 135,216 boxes already opened are what hold it there. EB05 scores 0 of 10 on the same scale for the obvious reason: it has zero months of data.
If the European restock chatter turns into pallets, the first thing to watch is whether that $310.97 box price holds its gap to the $186 of contents. The singles tape has not moved on the rumor so far.
